An incident in which a tenth-class student committed suicide by pouring kerosene oil on her body and setting herself on fire.
Ananya (13), a 10th-class student of Manur Padukere Government High School committed suicide.
On Monday morning, she tried to commit suicide by pouring kerosene on herself inside the house. She was rushed to the hospital with the help of an ambulance from Thekkatte Friends, but she died on the spot.
The body of the student was partly burnt and the exact reason for the suicide is not known. Kundapur police rushed to the spot and are investigating the matter.
